Ana Sosa was born in Mexico but she moved to Canada when she was eight years old. In Vancouver, British Columbia she studied at Dance Co Academy and completed the Intensive Training Program at Harbour Dance Center.  

After graduating highschool she moved to New York City after receiving the President's Scholarship at Pace University. In 2014 she graduated from Pace University with a Bachelor in Business Administration and was one of the Eryc Taylor Dance grant recipients. 

She was able to present her work at the Jennifer Muller’s Hatch Presenting Series, Wholelottaproductions’ The Pearl, The  Chen Dance Center’s New Steps Series, The Amalgamated Series, as a NYC Dance Arts Resident,  Spoke the Hub's 14th Annual Winter Follies, Pace University's 1st Commercial Dance Program's year-end show, Elisa Monte's Creative Tools Symposium, The Moving Beauty Series, & Dixon Place (November 2015).

She is currently in Mexico choreographing a full-time show with the students and dance companies of the Autonomous University of The State of Hidalgo where she also works as a guest public speaker. The show will be presented in the Aula Magna which seats 600+ people. It is her biggest project to date.
